Sunol Regional Wilderness - Little Yosemite Area is considered as a 'must' in the early spring.  The streams will be full of water and there will be springs all over the place after all these rains.  This will be our 3rd visit to the park.

Direction:
    * From the Fremont area:
      Drive north on I-680 and exit at Calaveras Road. Turn right on Calaveras and proceed to Geary Road, which leads directly into the park.
    * From the Oakland/Berkeley area:
      Drive east on I-580 to the junction with I-680 in Pleasanton. At the junction, go south on I-680 and exit at Calaveras Road/Highway 84 just south of the town of Pleasanton. Turn left onto Calaveras Road and proceed to Geary Road, which leads directly into the park.
    * From the Walnut Creek/Danville area:
      Drive south on I-680 and exit at Calaveras Road/Highway 84 just south of the town of Pleasanton. Turn left onto Calaveras Road and proceed to Geary Road, which leads directly into the park.

Geary Road exit is shortly after the speed limit changes from 50 mph to 25 mph.  There will be an entrance fee to the park.  Once inside the park, follow the road for about 0.5 mi to its end at trail head parking.  We will meet at this parking lot.  You may pick up a map at the entrance.

2/26/2011, Coyote Hills Regional Park, Fremont
After recent heavy rains, the weather cleared up on a cold crisp morning with blue sky.  After the hike, we headed to Sendo Sushi, 4555 Hopyard Rd., Pleasanton, for a hearty Japanese lunch with Mr. 최학묵 (KB39).  The restaurant was newly opened by Mr. & Mrs. 한상의(guests on a number of KB outings).
